Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need fitness experience to join a class?
No - all classes are designed to be accessible to everyone. We use a layered, strength-led approach, meaning beginners and more experienced clients can train side by side, working at their own level with guidance throughout.
What should I bring?
Just yourself and a bottle of water. Grip socks are essential. We sell Flexi Fly branded socks for £10 per pair and non-branded for £3, or you’re welcome to bring your own.
What should I wear?
Grip socks and comfortable clothing you can move in — leggings or shorts with a fitted top work best. Avoid anything too loose so we can clearly see movement and alignment for safe, effective coaching.
How many people are in a class?
Just four to five people per reformer class & ten in mat. This keeps sessions focused, coaching-led, and tailored to individual technique and progression.
Where are you based?
We’re based in Bamber Bridge, Fulwood, and Croston. Full addresses and directions can be found on our Find Us page.
Can I book a one-off class?
Yes - you can book single sessions or choose a membership to save. Our flexible memberships can reduce the cost to just £12 per class.
Are your classes suitable for injuries or returning to movement?
While we’re not a rehabilitation clinic, our instructors are experienced in adapting movements and supporting a wide range of abilities. Please let your instructor know before class if you have any injuries or limitations. If you’re recovering from an injury, we recommend getting clearance from your physio or GP first.
Is this slow and gentle reformer work?
Not quite. Flexi Fly Strength sessions are strength-focused and progressive, using resistance, control, and breath-led movement to challenge the whole body. Everything is coached with intention - focusing on quality, not speed.
Do you offer beginner classes?
We don’t separate classes by level. Instead, every session is built using our layered method so beginners and more advanced clients can train together - safely, confidently, and at their own pace. Everyone is welcome.
